Sometimes X Is Wrong “About this account” Feature

“There’s no direct ‘report error’ button specifically for this section mentioned in public help docs, but if it’s seriously misleading (e.g., harming safety or authenticity perception), you can report the account via X’s standard reporting tools for spam, authenticity issues, or other violations.”

Back in November, X came up with the bright idea to post “About this account” on our profile pages. That’s when all hell broke loose.

The information on my page could not be more wrong. First, I’ve been a paying member of X for three years (joined Twitter in 2019). X has posted wrong information as to when they started taking my money. Three times and counting, but according to X my account has been verified since 2025.

If X would properly review my account, they could see that I have receipts for three years of paid membership dues (2023, 2024 & 2025). In a court of law, that would be called PROOF.

As for the number of times I have changed my user ID (X claims 210 times), this is impossible. It never happened. It’s wrong information. I don’t even know 210 people much less could I come up with 210 user names. One is plenty, thank you very much.

I’ve chatted with Premium Support until I’m blue in the face. They have assured me that they are working on the problem (which may or may not be resolved), but I have little faith that this misinformation will ever be corrected.

So, here I sit getting harassed by the likes of certain haters on X who keep posting and reposting this wrong information about me as a way to get clicks and likes. The comments I have received are vile, filthy, and disgusting, but X doesn’t care.

X really does not care!

Saturday and Perry Mason

I must be crazy!

Who would have thought that a comment on a post would cause people to respond with some of the most vile, ignorant, and pathetic replies one has ever seen?

I’m used to a few but today was like nothing I have ever seen before.

After sending dozens of posts to the “block” bin, it was time to just delete everything and block the main source of the problem.

Done and done!

What does any of this have to do with Perry Mason?

Absolutely nothing.

I’ve been watching reruns on the Retro TV channel and paying close attention to the courtroom drama. People dressed up back then and they were civil to each other.

I miss civility most of all.

The Flowers of My Soul (My Babies)

my heart breaks
each time
i think of them
not knowing
for sure
but feeling
deep in my soul
one daughter
one son
grieving
my heart aches
the simple service
at last
sitting quietly
by candlelight
reading
from the bible
the priest
holding my hands
repeating words
meant to bring
peace and
comfort
to ease
the pain
entering
their names
forever
on a page
in the
small
book
of
love
for h and e
